A man walked along a bright and cheery road, sun softly raining down upon the area in his wake. The man stood at the average height with long black hair filled with an oddity of sharp crimson streaks. His facial features were pale, structured handsomely and matured, yet his eyes were a bright tint of viridian filled with a rare cheekiness, as if almost denying his age. He didn't stand out too much, wearing basic clothes and a pair of jeans.
Kai Blackdragoon was his name. A rather odd name, but no one seemed to be bothered by it. He was currently in his mid-thirties, and seemingly missing his duel disk and deck. The Dragon Duelist of the Japan Academy was gone, and in his place was a simple businessman that had ties to Kaiba Corp. Unsurprisingly the locket around his neck was gone too, replaced by a rather oddly designed aged watch on a chain
Things had indeed changed in the passing years. He didn't mind though.
"Daaad!"
After all, he changed too. Kai grinned and broke out of his thoughts, looking down at the two small kids suddenly hugging his legs. A young boy and girl with dark black hair and similar features smiled at him and jumped up, his eyes growing wide as they somehow dive bombed him with hugs and kindness. Laughter echoed as he span the two around in a firm grip before pulling back, still grinning cheekily
"Hey, guess I'm lat-?"
He was cut off by an interrupting firm voice, his face paling
"Husband, where have you been..?"
Crap. Kai turned and shifted his gaze to the door of the rather quaint house nearby, a figure staring at him with stern eyes. He could barely contain his fear, and happiness, with children standing by him giggling to themselves. Admittedly the figure did cut a pretty intimidating scene with those eyes, but he couldn't help but admire the beauty his wife had
Yes, wife. His younger self would of been hitting him over the head for falling in love with such a woman, but he could hardly gather enough will to care. She stood in a rather sleek white and red samurai-like dress, her long black hair falling down her back and over the sides of her pale face, framing it beautifully. She was a woman that could (and did) beat the hell out of him with a sword, but she was also the centre of his life
She was perfect.
"Husband....!?"
Sadly, she had never lost any of her kendo training or strength. While he had spent many years playing duel monsters, she had spent her years learning the art of the blade and enough martial arts that even their neighbours, the Saotomes, were shocked at. Ranma himself had taken to sparring with his wife a lot because of such.
He had been jealous, yes, but he trusted his wife.
Besides, he could always Mind Crush the bastard if he tried anything.
A simple "card game" my foot thought Kai as he flashed a hidden grin to himself.

OOC: Yay, its working again! Anyway, this was just a small plot bunny titbit written in a hurry while unable to post. Basicly it is my YGO RP char from the old Yahoo group, many years ahead.
Basic summary of the whole thing: Kai, now in his mid thirties, lives in Japan within the central of Nerima with his family. After Duelling Academy he got a job at Kaiba Corp after being offered an apprenticeship. During his following years he went on to meet his wife, who swiftly kicked his butt after a offhand comment. Safe to say, hate breeds love. Unimpressed with his "card game" obsession, she challenged him to an official fight after seeing him use those "silly little cards" to beat a few thugs.
He lost, but not without earning her respect, and affection.
Safe to say, things were still strange for the Blackdragoon.
