A voice echoed before being interrupted by a earth shattering roar, a massive form towering over the black robed figure and staring down with pure amber eyes. The Shinigami male could only stare up wide-eyed at the large serpent, his form growing tense as he got ready to release his sword. He would not fall to a Hollow, not with everyone counting on him. Yet it seemed that the beast itself had other ideas, its distorted voice echoing in darkness
"Lavos."
Like it would tell it the name it was birthed with. Bah. Lavos would do for food.
The Shinigami flinched and jumped backwards as the large snake-like Hollow roared, slamming into the ground and burrowing deeply. Seconds ticked by and the man's eyes flew open, the earth shaking strongly. Without another word the male quickly let loose with a burst of Shunpo, instantly moving to a nearby rooftop. It was a lucky, or skilful, break seeing as the mighty beast erupted from the stone earth and let loose a massive Cero to the sky, bathing the town in red
It, the Cero, just continued its launch to the blue sky, where the Shinigami could only stand in awe and horror as it expanded, before turning untamed on the world. Buildings and town people alike were bathed in death, flames licking the streets and eating away at life. It was sheer chaos, screams of utter terror echoing in all directions. The remaining survivors and the Shinigami could only stare in pure refined fear at the massive snake life form staring down at them. It was like an apocalypse, or the end of everything.
The Shinigami could only narrow his eyes in determination and rage, gripping his Zanpakuto before lifting it before him, grasping the golden hilt. Sparks of life ran along the cold steel, a shiver of pure wind running around his form like a vortex. In a single flash a tsunami of golden energy exploded from his form, his sword expanding into a golden and silver trident like weapon
"Rise and Shatter, Sansensa (Trident Dagger)!"
The snake Hollow simply stared for a moment before blinking as the Shinigami span the trident, a heavy and thunderous wind picking up. An eclipse of raw light shot upwards around the weapon, a shock wave letting loose a single sonic boom as the trident began to turn into pure energy, fading away into nothing but a golden colour of spirit pressure. Then, it happened. The Shinigami ended the spin of the trident and pointed the very tip at the direction of the snake beast, his voice echoing loudly
"Shatter!"
The serpent blinked. An explosion of lashing and overpowering golden energy shot towards it, the air heating up from the sheer intensity of the blast. The beast never had a chance as the attack slammed into its form, being quickly overtaken and bathed into its pure glow. It ripped straight through the scales, before erupting out the back and into the night sky, leaving a trail of hope and purity in its destructive wake
"Rise!"
The ground began to shake once more, a spinning wind shoot upwards from the earth and reaching the sky in a instant. Lashing winds moved through the air, leaving nothing but distortions behind, and quickly forcing the dust to vanish. The deep smell of thick rock set upon the vicinity as the view was shown, a pant echoing.
"I-impossible..." muttered the Shinigami as he gaped at the deep hole where the snake Hollow had been. The beast was gone. Not destroyed, not purified, not hurt. Gone. It had vanished through a self-burrowed trench in a blink of an eye. Hell, he could sense the thing, and it didn't even seem to be all that bothered. Yet, how!? Then it clicked, his eyes staring at the large thing left in its place. It was a carcase, or a large hump of flesh. Skin. Shedded skin.
"No way..!"
His answer was quickly realised. The earth shook once again and the massive beast shot from the earth once more, its maw opened and a red glow within the depth. The Shinigami never had a chance to even blink, as the crimson blast exploded straight through his chest and drilled a hole into his life. Blood seeped into the earth as his form fell and smacked onto the floor, twitching in sheer utter pain. Even his trident Zanpakuto had gone dull and had sealed itself once more, cracks reaching out to the edges
"N-no...not like this. Sansensa! Help me...plea-"
His plea for help was cut off, a giant mouth smashing into him and clenching around his already broken form without an inch of pity. A forked tongue wrapped around his body, a trickle of saliva following. The Shinigami had time to scream or even stop his tears. He was eaten in a matter of breaths, a simple meal of the snake Hollow. All that was left of him was his shattered Zanpakuto, a single bladeless hilt left on the bloodied stone
All in all, it was a good day for Legato Yagami.
Three forms phased to life before the giant snake Hollow in instant.
It. He. She. Whatever, knew it was too good to be true.
“Break and die, Tatsunokuchi!” (Dragon-Head Gargoyle)
“Fly with the winds, Mugiwaratonbo!” (Dragonfly)
“Erupt within the clouds, Kyosei!” (Giant Grand Star)
The first and tallest form held a giant hammer like weapon, where the maul head was in the shape of a dragon-like formed skull, flames licking the edges of the stone. The figure itself was a male Shinigami with spiky blue hair that reached down his back, a frown curving across its broken and bruised lips. He was very built, muscles packed onto every inch of his form, and the single “Eleven” marking the torn black robes shone brightly
The second and smallest form gripped a staff weapon, crimson markings decorating the painted black wooden edges. The figure in question was the only female in the group, yet held similar features to the blue-haired man wielding the maul Zanpakuto. She seemed to be his sister, yet her hair colour was much softer, a darker tint of blue. Her soft face was glaring up at the snake Hollow, hatred frothing deeply within her amber eyes.
The final figure of the three was a male with long golden blonde hair, green streaks running through the roots. He seemed like the stereotypical “hero-type,” as his pale bandaged hands held the very large sword, which was as big as eight-feet in length and made of pure silver metal. His light blue eyes stared up at the Hollow, much like his team-mates were doing, yet something was different about his stare. It held fire unlike any other, pure will and determination locked within the depths, a deep snarl echoing.
“We won't let you torment these people any more! We, I, won't stand for it any longer!” the loud voice of the blonde male echoed, his hands palming the hilt of the huge buster-sword like blade, a shiver of blue light flowing upwards around him. The snake Hollow watching, Legato, barely blinked as the team-mates of the blonde seemed to gasp and stare in awe at the blonde. The air shook and a statement exploded forth
“Banka-!”
He was ate instantly. The snake's maw slammed down over the boy as he posed, not even giving him time to utter the release phrase as the fork tongue of the beast ripped through the mouth of the teen and out his spine within a single second, ending the life of the Shinigami without a inch of pity or guilt. The following silence was filled with a complete tsunami of shock and horror, leaving the Hollow seemingly smirking
“Heh. Bitch be gone.”
Cruel snake eyes glared into the souls of the Shinigami, its massive form towering over them as its distorted voice echoed
“I don't think any of you get it. You can be faster, stronger, or just simply smarter than me. But, you will never win. Why? Kukukuku...simple, my dears...”
A red light flashed and an explosion rocked the land, everything turning white
“I'm unlike anything you've encountered thus far..."

OOC: How'd Legato do that? They all had stats in the 1's except for Zanpakuto. Safe to say, the snake had a blast.
