Pulling himself out of his thoughts, Daisuke blinked and turned to face the others. He nodded to Isao before turning his eyes to the girl. "Sorry, I had a lot on my mind so I wasn't really thinking straight. I know that's not an excuse, but it's the truth." The criminal sighed and tugged on his ponytail. "I really shouldn't have been put in charge of this mission..."
Then he shook his head, forcing his hand back down. Again, dwelling would do him no good in a situation like this. "The first thing we should probably do is look for whoever Yamamoto-dono said would inform us." He spoke, half to himself. "Taking into consideration that he said that the person would 'probably' not be able to help us says that there is a large chance he could have normally helped us. The fact that he has information on the dilemma says that he most likely encountered whatever is going on here, and survived, but is too injured to fight."
"We shouldn't split up." Daisuke continued. "Obviously whatever this thing is, it's far too strong to be taking a chance to run into it alone. The man we're looking for is most likely a bit of a ways from the park, far enough to be out of range from whatever's happening and close enough to find and tell us what we need. We should start by searching the outer edges of the park..."
Daisuke blinked, and began messing with his ponytail in his usual nervous manner once more. "Um, any objections?"
