The Lost Guardians

"Wait, WHAT!?!" Dee shrieked. "Fight him? But that-that's..." Well, there were a lot of adjectives that could describe this moment, but the only one she could think to use was "...bad."

"I mean they could purify him!" She shouted, refering to Zoe and Julie. "I don't want something like that to happen! And I doubt that i could do anything!"

She sighed after she got all that out. "Can I at least change into some real clothes, please...?"

Zoe's eyes widened marginally, but she kept a calm facade as best she could.

"Are you serious, Pervy-san?! Like Dee said, we could accidentally purify him! What are you trying to get from this?!"

After registering Dee's later comment, she glanced down at her clothes and sighed in relief. Clad in skinny jeans, chucks, and a tight t-shirt, she was capable of moving (or fleeing) without much distress.

"Sorry, but I think you have the wrong idea..."

Urahara toned with an amused smile, turning away. A sudden rush of dark energy exploded over the air, licking the floor with dark deadly hunger as a certain Demi-Hollow began to grow silent. A horrifying feeling of despair and hopelessness sank upon the area, pale lips twitching with unheard pain. Amber eyes bled with darkness, a twisted roar exploding from a hollow throat.

Two fists clenched. Leon's face began to slowly narrow into a grimace of raw pain, pieces of white flesh slowly forming over his features. It looked like white blood pouring over him from his cheeks, constructing into a evil mask of a wild hungry fox. Madness screamed from the mask and hidden eyes, intelligence slowly overcome by a searing wave of pure insanity.

"HROAAAAAAAAAAH!"

Urahara simply grinned

"Who said you had a choice?"

Zoe whirled to face him and waved her arms around spastically.

"Are you freaking kidding me?! Julie, Dee, and I don't even freaking know how to fight yet!!!"

Julie's eyes widen as much as she was able to as she took a step back. "Oi! ARe you insane?! Like we said, we could purify leon by accident! Not only that, WE COULD DIE!!! STOP BEING SO GOD DAM HAPPY!" she shouted, her body frozen in fear.

Dee couldn't move. She was absolutely petrified. The girl open her mouth to add to Zoe and Julie's remarks, but found that she no sound would come out. Putting a hand to her throat, she also found that her hands were trembling. Was this how reiastu felt? It was terrifying.

This was bad. Dee really didn't want to fight Leon. It wasn't going to be like sparing in karate, this was going to be a full out battle. Someone could really get hurt, or even killed. Most likely herself. There was no way on Earth that she could win.

But a tiny voice in the back of her mind told her there would be much worse later on, and if she was ever going to get home, she would need to surpass this and become stronger.

Though still quaking, Dee managed to get herself into a Seisan stance and looked at Leon, waiting for what he would do next.

"HROAAAAAAAAAAH!"

The monster that Leon had become roared at the top of his lungs, the distorted sound shattering upon air. Unlike Dee, the British boy had no form of fighting skill. He scoffed at karate, laughed at kendo, and all around thought such things as pointless. Still, what he lacked in skill, he made up with raw instinct. He was a brawler, first and foremost, one that liked to fight dirty.

His Hollow powers had just made things easier for him. For example his enhanced speed made him faster than the average Human, but not by much. His amber eyes shone with wild anger as he simply charged forward like a bull, throwing away all forms of stance and striking ability in favour of simply crushing his opponent. His grey fist flew through the air, intending to crush Dee's face into powder.

Urahara just shook his head as he observed and then chuckled, hiding his dark eyes "Yes, you could die. The only way for you not to die, is to fight and unlock your powers..." He voice grew almost cold by the end of the sentence. His words came full circle. He was making a point to them. This world was no joke. It was not fun and games.

They could really die.

OOC: Safe to say, I'm a brawler. If you got into a fighting stance that looks like something out of a kung fu movie, I'd laugh at you and then toss a bottle at your head, before stamping on your face. In other words, my counterpart here ain't gonna be all that different in fighting.

Zoe let out a small squeak and leaped out of the way of the hollow-boy's charge, shouting at the perverted shop keeper, "WHAT THE BLOODY HELL ARE WE SUPPOSED TO DO?! I'M STILL IN MY BODY!!!"

The girl's eyes widened as she saw Leon racing toward her, sending her thoughts racing as well. Dear heaven almighty was she screwed. What to do what to do what to do-

Upper block his punch and use his own momentum against him to uppercut him in the face.

Not bothering to question who had just told her that, Dee did as she was told. She brought up her left arm, blocking Leon's blow before grabbing on to it and pulling him even closer, and used her other arm to send a blow to his face, hitting him square in the nose.

Now a push kick.

Dee let go of the man's arm and grabbed both of his shoulders before lifting her foot, putting it against her opponent and extending it, sending him back before moving back a few steps herself, going back into Seisan stance.

Then she blinked.

What had just happened?

"You cannot rely on a tool to get out of your body, let alone a gigai."

Urahara's words boomed across the battle field as Leon flew through the air, only to skid to a stop with a push of raw force. Amber eyes flashed and a snarl echoed, his grey form standing up straight with a vile hiss. A move like that would of pissed him off royally in their own world, to the point that he would just use overwhelming force and trickery. Sadly, it was far worse now Hollow power ran through his blood.

Even Urahara and Yoruichi didn't expect what happened next.

His twitching hand came up, spreading out as the air grew hot. A crimson glow formed in the middle of his palm, twisting violently before expanding into an orb. Leon didn't even bother to respond as he lashed out with the Cero, causing a large wave of red light to explode outwards at the female teens. It swallowed all that came before it in a roar of power, erasing it an instant.

"WHAAAAAAAAAAT?!" Julie screamed as she jumped out of the way of the Cero, barely landing herself on top of the rocks nearby. "Oi, how the hell do we get out without using that glove thing or the soul pill, huh?! We're not magicians!" Julie shouted. She paused for a second before something clicked in her head.

"ZOE!" She shouted to her friend. "TRY DOING WHAT YOU USUALLY DO WITH LEON! HE MAY BE A HOLLOW BUT IT COUDL WORK!!! XD"

Well...if she got Zoe fucked up in this situation, atleast she has somethign to defend her self later...

Zoe rolled under the Cero into a fissure in the rock, narrowly avoiding being annihilated by the blast.

"ARE YOU FUCKING SERIOUS, JULIANA?!" she screamed! "I AM NOT FLIRTING WITH A HOLLOW BOY THAT IS TRYING TO KILL US!" she paused. "AT LEAST NOT UNTIL I HAVE SOMETHING TO DEFEND MYSELF WITH!!!"

Dee also managed to dodge the Cero, albeit barely. She had to throw herself on the ground to the side to avoid it. She couldn't help but shudder afterwards though. That almost killed her...

The girl looked over to Zoe and Julie, not getting up off the ground. "Is this honestly the time to do that!?! At the very least we need to think of a way to get you two in Shinigami form!" Now Dee pushed herself up and ran over to the two.

"Look." She whispered when she reached them. "The others can probably hear what I'm saying even at this volume, but it's worth a shot. Surprisingly you two may be more useless than I am in the form you're in now, so you need to change into shinigami. I'm going to try and distract Leon; both of you go and try to find some mod pills or something in the store."

Not bothering to wait for their reactions, the brunette ran towards Leon and sent a punch towards his jaw.

Surprisingly Leon took the blow straight to the head, only for a deep vile chuckle to crawl out from over his lips. His eyes turned almost sadistic, his head lashing forward to strike Dee with a full forced headbutt. Safe to say, his seemingly unleashed Hollow madness wasn't all too caring about playing fair either.

Zoe grumbled, "We'll never be able to do that! Dude, it's Yoruichi and Kisuke. We won't get by them!"

"S-she's right, Dee!" Julie said as she jumped dow nfrom the rock she was standing on to avoid the Cero. "We have to come up with another way somehow!" She the nglared at the perverted bucket hat wearing man before running up to Zoe. "The only thing I can think of is that we get attacked by Leon...if I remember correctly, Orihime's soul got out of her body when she was attack by her hollow of a brother!"

Zoe shrugged. "Well, it's worth a shot..."

Running in front of the hollow-boy, she jumped up and down, waving her arms around.

"Hey you! Yeah, you! Over here!!! Come and get me!"

Dee didn't hear the other girls as Leon's head collided with her own. The girl stepped back and hissed in pain, tearing up as she clutched her wounded noggin. It was wet. Blood?

She tried not to let herself dwell on the fact as she finally did notice Zoe. What on Earth was she doing?

Seeing Dee get hurt, Zoe got angry.

"Yo! Bitch ass! Step off and take on someone your own size!"

Leon seemed to shake off the impact of the headbutt before turning to look at Zoe with a dark glare. His form began to glow with light as he began to walk towards her, only to break out into a sudden dash. His hand lashed outwards at the girl with intent to crack her skull. It was a sloppy and simple punch of an untrained thug, but the raw power behind it could of probably knocked a car down a street.

Zoe squealed and ducked, feeling the whoosh as Leon's hand shot by her head. The second she did so, however, she noticed that she had a tactical advantage. Closing her eyes and mentally apologizing, she threw her fist out in a brutal punch at the hollow's nether reigion.

"Oi, Zoe! I never said for you to purposely get yourself killed-" She saw Leon's attack missing zoe and immediately winxed and drawed back at the sigth of her punching his crotch before bursting out laughing. "Omg, good one Zoe! He'll definetely feel THAT!" She said in between laughs.

"Ouch."

"Ow. That had to have hurt..."

Leon flew backwards through the air and hit the earth with a pained roar. Seconds passed and the Hollow teen began to stand up, clenching his pale fists. Urahara suddenly narrowed his eyes as the Demi-Hollow began to twitch, lashing black flashes of energy ripping outwards over his pale skin. A hungry roar echoed over the landscape, the sound of flesh tearing following it

"Oh shit," swore Urahara as he rubbed his head. A certain cat looked pleased, thinking back on what the blonde and herself had spoken about a certain time before all this began.

The air began to shake, a furious wave of raw killing intent bathing over the view. The nails on the Hollow lengthened slightly, sharpening and becoming as hard as diamond. His pale and torn skin suddenly began to peel off him, a crater forming below his madly twitching form. His mask became more defined, a mad grin spreading over the edges of it. Two white furred tails tore out from his back, a howl of utter hunger shattering the sudden silence

He was pissed.

Zoe backed away, sweatdropping.

"Yeeeeahhh, maybe that wasn't the...best...idea...?"

"Y-YEah...maybe not..." Julie said, gotten over her laughing fit, her eye twitching. "Uhh Zoe? Forget about that whole 'attack to going into soul form thing....let's just not die, kay?"
